Balikasadanam

The major activity of the Sevabharathi is Balikasadanam. The Sevabharathi Balikasadanam was formed in 2005 to provide a safe shelter to girls from poorer sections of our society. The institution, functioning at its own premises at Moozhikkal, Chettuva in Kozhikode Dist. Kerala, India has the recognition of the orphanage control board Kerala.

As on date, Sevabharathi has 40 inmates in the Balikasadanam, Studying in various classes from lower primary to professional level. All expenses of the inmates, including that of dresses, books, food etc., are met by Sevabharathi. Apart from providing formal education, the inmates are given training in Yoga, culinary arts, handicrafts, gardening etc. The donors are also encaged to visit the Balikasadanam, to create a familial bond with the inmates.
