These young boys and girls their usually start doing odd works at home or are sent off to work elsewhere, whose major earnings can help their families. Such children who are identified as being good at studies are selected and supported so that they can study for their full potential.

In the last 4 'years a total of 28 children from our Sevabasti, studying in 5th, 8th, 9th, and 10th standards have been chosen into this project. They live in their own home with their parent, while they attend tuition classes specially conducted under this project by trained teacher for one to one and half hours every day in a designa1ed place. These children are also provided two sets of clothes and study material which includes school bags, books, pens, etc. The family members are kept in touch by outworkers who visit them often to update the progress of their wards and also to take they into confidence.

Soon after they assemble, they recite Slakes. They are also given lesson about the Hindu way of life, stories from our epics like Ramayana & Mahabharat are told to them. The children are also taught about cleanliness and personal hygiene.

All these have hold a lot of impact on the way of life of these children and also has influence the home environment. The parents are all too happy about the positive changes in their wards. Many parents and guardians have approached our worker requesting that their wards be taken into the project many times pleading with them.
